Brookland Middle School

Middle School Cheer is super excited to be hosting FREE Cheerleading Skills Clinics for girls in grades 4-6 who are interested in trying out for middle school/junior high cheerleading next year! Information sheets are going home with each girl in those grades today. If you would like for your child to participate please fill out the information sheet that went home, and send it back with your child. We cannot wait to work with all of your amazing girls!

Cross Country and Track Fundraiser!

Mrs. Smith is in the lead with Mrs. Reed in second and Mrs. Sandy in third place for the Turkey Feather Trophy!! Friday is the last day! Keep it up Bearcats!

The classrooms that are in the lead for the coveted Thankful Turkey Trophy are: 1st place - Mrs. Sandy 2nd place - Mrs. Smith 3rd place - Mrs. Gillean Will Mrs. Sandy's class hold on to the top spot or will someone else swoop in and WIN?! We will find out on Friday! Keep up the great work! BMS Angel Tree families and students will be so thankful!!

Pride Paw Store will be this Thursday and Friday for students who wish to use their Pride Paws! There are nut-free and gluten-free options available. Please message your child's homeroom teacher if you have questions about specific allergies.

Thankful Turkey Update!!! Homerooms in the lead are... 3rd: Mrs. Haden 4th: Mrs. Smith 5th: Mrs. Sandy 6th: No Money...yet!!! Remember, $1 to purchase a feather and help your child's homeroom win the Thankful Turkey trophy! ALL proceeds go towards the Angel Tree Program.

The Annual Thankful Turkey fundraiser is back! Students can fill their bald turkey for $1 a feather. The turkey with the most feathers wins the coveted Thankful Turkey Trophy! All proceeds goes to the Angel Tree Program which provides gifts and food for Bearcat families! Begins Nov. 14th-Nov. 18th!

Smoothies will be coming to BMS Cafeteria! Students can choose this as their meal with a cheese stick and crackers or choose it as an a la carte item for $1. This will be served everyday this week and then Monday, Wednesday, and Friday after this week.

MS Girls Basketball Information: Tonight (11/3) and tomorrow night (11/4) camp will be in the arena at these times: 5:30-6:15 3rd and 4th grade 6:15-7:00 5th and 6th grade Also, tryouts will be Monday Nov. 7th in the middle school gym. 4th - 3:15- 4:00 5th - 4:00-4:45 6th - 4:45-5:30 The girls must leave and come back at their tryout times. 4th grade may stay after school.
