The Middle School Library will be having a Book Fair, February 10-16. Family Night will be during PT Conferences on Thursday, February 16 (2:00-7:00 PM). Students attending family night will be able to put their name in a drawing for free prizes.
Brookland Cheer & Dance will be hosting a Peewee Clinic for grades PK-6:
CLINIC - Thursday, January 12th -
5:30PM - 7:30PM in the HS Arena
(same location as the fall clinic)
PERFORMANCE - Saturday, January 14th -
halftime @ the high school basketball game
COST - $50.00 includes t shirt, clinic, admission for the participant into the game
SIGN-UP by Friday, 1/6 - only 200 spots (spots will be filled in the order received)

Peewee cheer & dance clinic is an event hosted by the Brookland cheerleaders and dancers. Participants spend an afternoon with the girls learning a routine that includes a dance, cheer and chant that they will perform at the Senior High Basketball games vs Wynne during halftime. Participants will receive a cute t-shirt to wear at the performance. All students in PreK-6th grade are invited to participate but there is a cap of 200 participants for the event. Registrations will be taken in the order they are received.

Jr High Boys Soccer (6-9th grade and 2008 or more recent birthday) will have one last tryout day on Thursday from 4-5:30 at the stadium. If you have not already attended a tryout practice, you need to attend on Thursday or contact Coach Parsons at bparsons@bpsbearcats.com to let him know of your interest in playing.

Mark your calendars! 2022-23 BMS Cheer Tryouts for current 3rd-5th graders will be February 22nd-24th. Anyone trying out must attend these dates, all other clinic dates including FREE skills clinics dates are optional. Tryout packets will be available to pick up in Mrs. Akin's office starting on January 23rd and will be due back on February 16th. We will be hosting several OPTIONAL clinics in preparation for and leading up to tryouts. Information on those clinics and interest forms are going home with all 3rd-5th grade girls today. Interest forms for these optional clinics are due back by December 20th to guarantee a slot in these clinics. Forms for FREE Skills for current 4th-6th graders clinics went home a couple of weeks ago, and are due back prior to those clinic dates.
