Mrs. Barnes is hosting a pageant this January In Memory of her son. This event will take place at the Brookland School Performing Arts Center and all proceeds will be donated to Local Mpact, a nonprofit organization that supports families suffering from infant loss. Mrs. Son’s students were happy to have Blythe’s mom, Ms. Terren, as their Mystery Reader on Friday. She read them The Not-So-Scary Book of Monsters, had them craft their own not-so-scary monsters, and treated them with cupcakes. The students’ monster creations are now displayed at First Community Bank in Brookland where Ms. Terren works. 👻 🧡

Mrs. McMorries class has had a busy week! We had two healthy choice poster winners - Congratulations Amelia and Kenzie. We also had a mystery reader and got to have to pirate fun on camo/animal print day. We carved a class pumpkin and finished it all off by wearing red and black for the Bearcats! 🐾
Ms. Baker’s class earned enough brag letters to spell Bearcats, so they had a board game/art afternoon today! 🐾❤️
