Lunch Menu for 9/15 -9/19! 🍔🥗🍕

🚨🐾 Look who stopped by our classroom today! 🚨🐾
A HUGE thank you to Officer Foust and his K-9 partner, Ozzy, for visiting Ms. Kazi’s class and helping students connect our stories to the real world. 📚🐕🚔
We’ve been learning about character traits and community helpers, and our read alouds have been all about officers and their police dogs. Today those stories came to life!!! 💙❤️

Thank you to the Ussery family for helping us kickoff our One Book, One School reading event. Our students loved seeing the canines show off their skills and training. We were very impressed at how well they listened! 🐾❤️
BES is very excited about starting this school-wide literacy event in which all students and teachers will read the same book at the same time. Read alouds of each chapter will be posted online so students can follow along. Trivia days with cool prizes will follow the chapter readings so students can share their knowledge!
We can't wait to start Fenway and Hattie by Victoria J. Coe and find out what it feels like to be a dog!

Happy Birthday, Little Bearcat! 🎉
