We would like to invite you to join us this weekend for the tale of “Puffs, or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic,” a story of friendship, folly, and the unsung heroes who dwell just outside the spotlight.
Performances shall commence:
Saturday, April 17 at 2:00 in the afternoon and 7:00 in the evening
Sunday, April 18 at 2:00 in the afternoon
Gather your cloaks, ready your wands, and prepare for a show full of laughter and magic. Your presence is most eagerly awaited!
If you like a certain series about a certain wizard at magic school, you’ll love this one! (It follows the story of what happens at a certain magic school, and does have the boy with the scar on his forehead in it- however, the story is not about him, it’s about the Puffs, who just happened to be there too.)
Tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for students and senior citizens, and are available at the door of the Brookland Performing Arts Center.

BES has updated the ATLAS Summative testing dates for grades 1-3. The testing window for 1st & 2nd grades is April 27th- May 15th. Your child's teacher will provide specific dates. The 3rd grade will take the Reading assessment on Tuesday, April 28th, the Writing assessment on Thursday, April 30th, the Math assessment on Tuesday, May 12th, and the Science assessment on Thursday, May 14th. Please do not schedule outside appointments during these testing dates. It is very important for your child to be present to take the tests the same day as their class tests. As always, please encourage your child to do their very best. Have a wonderful weekend!

Brookland Youth Football is a competitive tackle football program for students who attend Brookland Middle School and will be entering grades 4th through 6th.
• Please follow the “Brookland Youth Football” page on Facebook for info, communication, and important dates.
• Age limit: Any player who turns 13 before 9-1-26 is NOT eligible. A COPY OF THE PLAYER'S BIRTH CERTIFICATE IS MANDATORY FOR ALL INCOMING FOURTH GRADERS OR PLAYERS WHO HAVE NOT PLAYED IN THE PAST. Birth certificate copies or photos can be uploaded in the field below or emailed to cnewman@bpsbearcats.com.
• Cost: $70 per player (PAYMENT LINK IS EMBEDDED IN THE FORM BELOW)
• Parents/Guardians are responsible for transportation of the player to and from practices and games. Some games will be played out of town.
• Players need to be registered by August 1st.
• There will be a mandatory parent meeting announced at a later date.
