The school went into a temporary lockdown with a malfunction of our RAVE System signaling an active shooter. The police responded within seconds and discovered it was a malfunction. All students and staff are safe and there was NO active shooter. We are in contact with the company that provides our system to explain and correct.

USDA Summer Meals for Kids Site Finder
USDA works closely with states to ensure that children who receive on free or reduced-price school meals can get the nutrition they need when schools are closed – whether during summer break or unexpected closures during the school year. Through USDA's summer meal programs, approved sites in communities across the country can serve meals to kids up to age 18 at no cost. Families can use this tool to find directions to nearby meal sites, as well as their hours of operation and contact information.
Families seeking food assistance for their children can also contact The USDA National Hunger Hotline, operated by Hunger Free America. The hotline can be reached Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. ET. at 1-866-3-HUNGRY (1-866-348-6479) (for English) or 1-877-8-HAMBRE (1-877-842-6273) (for Spanish).

As we near the end of the school year, it is that time again to nominate an "Educator of the Year" for each building.
Anyone can be an "educator" when they have a positive impact on the students and school whether it is in the areas of academics, athletics, or social/emotional growth.
Students, staff, parents, and community members are welcome to submit this form. We want everyone's input. The deadline to submit is April 19th.

Dear Parents/Guardians,
With the excitement of spring in the air, we are delighted to announce our upcoming Easter Egg Hunt event on Friday, March 29th for our preschool and kindergarten students. To make this event extra special for our little ones, we are asking for your support in donating 12 pre-filled plastic eggs per child. If you are able to donate any additional pre-filled plastic eggs to help other students, it would be greatly appreciated! Please send all donations with your child in their backpack by no later than Monday, March 25th. This will allow us to properly prepare and ensure that each child has an equal opportunity to participate in the hunt.
Please note that there is no need for parents to provide a basket or bag for the event. The school will be providing egg cartons for the students to decorate in art class prior to the event. Your generosity and support are greatly appreciated as we come together to create a memorable and enjoyable experience for our children. Thank you for your cooperation and contribution towards making our Easter Egg Hunt event a success!
