Parents/Guardians- Please make sure to look in your child's folder for information about our Little Caesar's fundraiser. Money raised will go towards events for our students and teachers all year long. Orders will be collected starting today Oct. 1st through Oct. 18th. Kits will be delivered in the beginning of November. Please make checks payable to Brookland Primary and send all money in a sealed envelope with your child's name and homeroom teacher on the form. At the end of school today a threat was reported to administration. The threat was investigated and turned over to the police. Following their investigation an arrest has been made. The investigation is on/going at this time.

The Brookland High School Baseball Team will present a baseball camp for boys and girls in grades K through six. Skills covered will be throwing, catching, batting, fielding and baserunning.
Instruction is provided by the High School Team and Coaching Staff. Each camper will receive a Bearcat Baseball T-shirt. A top camper award for each grade will be presented on the field before the Alumni game on Saturday, October 12, at 2pm.
Kindergarten, Saturday, Oct. 12, 10 – 11am - $35 (Check in at 9:30. A parent must remain with camper)
Grades 1-3, 3:30 to 5:30, Oct. 7 & 8 - $55
Grades 4-6, 3:30 to 5:30, Oct. 10 & 11 - $55
We will offer pickup from the Elementary and Middle Schools for the camp. Deadline to receive a shirt is Sept. 20. We will take enrollments after that but cannot guarantee a shirt.

IMPORTANT CAT CLUB INFORMATION- Right now, our plan is to keep Cat Club open this afternoon. With that being said, PLEASE pick up your child as soon as you can today after getting off of work. That way we can also dismiss our employees to make it home safely as well. We will take cover in our safe areas, as/if needed. If we have to go into our safe place, parents will NOT be able to check out/pick up their child until the threat has passed because all children and employees will be inside the building's safe area.

Tonight at 6pm, BPS will have our annual Title 1 Parent Meeting via Zoom. Please feel free to join in as well as share this link with parents. This is a short meeting, hosted by Mrs. Despain, that highlights how Title 1 funds are used in the district as well as answer questions and receive feedback regarding how those funds are utilized.
