Great Kindness Challenge is on!
Preschool will participate in the great kindness challenge Jan 31 thru Feb 4 by helping raise money for Make-A-Wish and completing daily activities to show kindness. Watch for dress up day announcements from your child's teacher!
Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on February 17th from 2-8 pm. School will dismiss at 1:20 and there will be NO afternoon Cat Club that afternoon. School will be closed for snow days on Feb 18th & 21st.
Frozen Friday is coming to Preschool!
Preschool will be frozen on February 11th! Students will have special snacks, special friends drop by and enjoy all things frozen. Frozen attire is welcome!

Brookland Public Schools COVID Guidelines for Isolation/Quarantine:
If You Test Positive for COVID-19 (Isolate) EVERYONE (regardless of vaccination status): You must stay home for 5 days.
If you have no symptoms at the end of 5 days, you may return to school.
You should continue to wear a mask around others for 5 additional days.
If you have a fever, continue to stay home until your fever resolves. You must be fever free for 24 hours before returning to school.
If You Were Exposed to Someone with COVID-19 (Quarantine)
If You are Fully Vaccinated:
You do not have to quarantine unless you start showing symptoms.
If you develop symptoms, you should get a test and stay home.
If You are Unvaccinated:
You should stay home for 5 days. If you don’t show symptoms, you can return on the 6th day.
After that, you should continue to wear a mask around others for 5 additional days. If you develop symptoms, get a test and stay home.
Christmas parties will be Friday, December 17 at 8 am. We will allow parents inside the building at 7:45. PLEASE BE PREPARED TO SHOW ID when you enter the building. This is to ensure we follow DHS guidelines knowing who is allowed to check out students and who is just visiting for the party. Please plan ahead to allow time for traffic and checking in to ensure you arrive in the classroom on time.
Brookland PreK will be closed for the Thanksgiving Holiday Nov 22-26. We will reopen at 7:30 on Nov 29.
