The Brookland School District will makeup last Friday's snow day as scheduled on our current calendar, Monday, January 20th. All Brookland Schools will be open on Monday, January 20th at their regular time to make up our snow day from Friday, January 10th.

We are in the midst of flu season. Please, help remind your children to wash their hands often, not share cups/drinks, not put their fingers in their mouths, etc. We will be reminding them of these things at school, too.

Mrs. Clark’s class has been studying animal adaptations in science. Today, we colored butterflies and camouflaged them in our classroom. We then hid our butterflies and played a game called “Whose Butterfly has Adapted the Best?” Here are some of the butterflies that took the longest to find. We had a great time learning! 🦋
CAT Club and all after school activities will be closed for Brookland tomorrow, Friday, January 10th, as well.

❄️❄️Update on the Miss Snow Angel Pageant❄️❄️
If school is cancelled tomorrow, the event will have to be canceled on Saturday. The makeup day is next Saturday, the 18th and will be the same times as scheduled for this weekend. If the pageant is rescheduled and you can no longer make the 18th, a refund questionnaire will be posted in the Facebook event this weekend. We regret if this has caused anyone any trouble!
