Mrs. Son’s class loved having Mrs. Melissa Duckett as a mystery reader last week. Mrs. Melissa read The Legend of Rock, Paper, Scissors and then taught the students how to play the game. What a fun time!

Brookland 1st grade teachers are in search of parent volunteers to work in 30 minute sessions one-on-one or with small groups of students. We strive to help our students reach their reading and spelling goals. Your role will be to assist students who need extra enrichment with these skills.
