Wednesday was wonderful and wacky in Mrs. Adam's room! โค๏ธ๐๐๐๐

On this Wacky Wednesday, Ms. Hallmarkโs class enjoyed a STEM lab. In science, students have been learning about weather and the future of tornado-proof houses. As a concluding activity, they used everyday materials to construct model houses that could withstand winds, from a hair dryer on high, for 20 seconds. Our principals even stopped by to observe their creativity in action. ๐ก๐ช๏ธ

We want to thank our community for your engagement, thoughtfulness, and participation in yesterdayโs election.
It was truly inspiring to see the passion and care so many people have for Brookland schools. The conversations, questions, and involvement on both sides of the issue reflect a community that deeply values its students and its future.
We are grateful to serve a community that cares so strongly about its schools, and we remain committed to providing the very best for our students every single day.

Last night the BPS School Board approved the 2026-27 BPS School Calendar for the next school year. It is a "minutes" calendar with five snow days built in. The school day start and end times will stay the same as they are now.

Today is Election Day, and polls are open until 7:30 p.m. We are incredibly grateful to our community for your thoughtful consideration, and your continued support of Brookland School District. Regardless of how you choose to vote, your involvement and care for our schools and our students mean so much. Thank you for being part of our shared commitment to the future of Brookland. If you have not yet voted, please remember to exercise your right before polls close this evening.
