While learning about magnets and engineering, Ms. Hallmark’s class enjoyed a STEM lab today. Each student designed and built his or her own magnetic lock out of paper clips, brads, index cards, stickers, and a card-stock paper house. A magnet was used as a “key” to unlock their door.
