BMS Honor Choir joined students from other local schools to perform with the Delta Symphony Orchestra at their Young Artist Concert yesterday. They sounded amazing! We are so proud of them!







The Brookland School District will be closed tomorrow, Friday, February 21st. Many of our gravel roads are either covered or have areas that are and the morning wind chill is another deciding factor. Be safe and stay warm.

The All-State Band performances for this weekend have been canceled and the District Basketball Tournament games scheduled for tomorrow night have been pushed to Friday night. Thank you all for your understanding and support.

Due to refreezing over night and the potential to the safety of our students and staff Brookland School District will be closed tomorrow Thursday, February 20.

Bowling Overalls have been moved to next Tuesday and Coach H. has canceled the trip to the Indoor Track meet scheduled for Saturday in Fayetteville.

Mrs. Smiths 4th grade classes have a bug problem! The Love Bugs are loose!! Students are practicing converting mixed numbers to improper fractions.





The Brookland's Sonic held a contest where a community could nominate a PreK-6 teacher to receive free Wacky Pack meals for his/her homeroom students to celebrate Valentine's Day. Mrs. Phillips, 5th grade Math teacher, was nominated and won! All of Mrs. Phillips' homeroom students received their choice meal and drink...FOR FREE! Thank you Brookland Sonic!





Book Fair Family Night is during PT conferences from 2pm-8pm!


Mrs. Wise’s science classes have been discussing sound waves in class. Today, they practiced making waves in a rope that resembled high pitch sounds and low pitch sounds!




This is just a reminder that Middle School Book Fair is going on this week until the 17th. Family Night is going to be during PT Conferences on Thursday, Feb. 13th, 2:00-7:00. Students that attend family night can put their names in a drawing for free prizes. Thank you for supporting our Book fair!!!!

🏀🐾 A huge thank you to the Brookland Basketball Program for hosting Middle School Night! BMS was proudly represented at both the High School Girls’ and Boys’ Basketball Games over the past two nights. The BMS girls' and boys' basketball teams and the BMS cheerleaders were recognized. Our Bearcats showed up strong, and the future is looking bright!
