We are so proud of our Odyssey of the Mind teams that competed at the State Qualifying Tournament in Corning on Saturday. All 5 teams placed and qualified for the State Tournament on April 1st at Hendrix College. We are especially proud of our BMS students! #bearcatproud

BMS Cheerleading Tryout Packets are due back to Mrs. Akin by tomorrow, February 16th. Any 3rd-5th grade student wanting to try out for middle school cheerleading will need to turn in these forms tomorrow.

The top five earning students went to Embassy Suites to speak on behalf of BMS at the Have a Heart Wishathon for raising $8700 dollars!! We were able to grant a wish for a Make-A-Wish kiddo! Way to go Bearcats! #bearcatproud

The Informational Parent/Student meeting is Monday, February 13th, at 6:30pm at the Middle School.


Brookland Jr High Cheer tryout packets are now available for any 6th grader who wants to try out for the junior high cheer team! Packets can be picked up from Mrs. Akin's office or in the main office. Jr High tryout clinics are March 6th and 7th in the high school cafeteria, and tryouts are March 9th. Tryout packets are due back by Wednesday, March 1st. Go Bearcats!!

Make-A-Wish updates! Currently in the lead for 3rd grade is Mrs. Haden's class, 4th grade is Mrs. Stallings' class, 5th grade is Mrs. Sandy's class, and 6th grade is Ms. Thomas' class! Our current total is $6800! We are so close to granting a Wish with our goal of $8,000! Let's go Bearcats! Tomorrow is the LAST day to raise funds! Incentives: Top 5 earning students in BMS will go to the radio-a-thon, reaching our $8,000 building goal means that our administrators and several teachers will be S'mored!, and the top earning homeroom in each grade receives a pizza party!

Make-A-Wish updates! Currently in the lead for 3rd grade is Mrs. Haden's class, 4th grade is Mrs. Stalling's class, 5th grade Mrs. Sandy's class, and 6th grade Mrs. Reynolds' class! If we reach our building-wide goal of $8,000 the top 5 earning students in each class get to S'more their administrators! If a grade-level raises $2,000 then one of their teachers joins in on the fun with the administrators! The PTO will be sponsoring a pizza party for the top earning class as well! Fundraising goes through this Thursday!
