ATLAS score reports are now available through the parent portal. Parent access codes will be attached to student report cards. Report cards will be available for pick up during parent-teacher conferences. Any report cards not picked up during conferences will be sent home. Mrs. Chastain’s 6th grade Literacy classes worked together to place puzzle pieces of an argumentative text in the correct order. They read, “You’ve Got a Pizza My Heart” and identified the thesis statement, body paragraphs, and conclusion. 🍕 ❤️

Mrs. Buttgen’s students had fun while learning to multiply two-digit numbers by using giant dice to create and solve numbers. 🎲



Mrs. Chastain’s 5th grade Literacy classes played Thesis Throwdown! Students wrote a thesis statement and then switched with partners. They had to draw and create new thesis statements based on the drawings. We had several winners who focused on their opinion and gave 3 reasons to support their claim! 📝 🐾
