
Brookland Public Schools will be closed Friday because of hazardous road and weather conditions. Students will continue to work on AMI assignments.

Tonight’s girls basketball games vs Trumann have been cancelled. Make up date has not been set.

Due to the forecast of inclement weather and the potential for dangerous roads and power outages, Brookland School District will utilize an AMI day for Thursday, February 3rd. Stay safe and warm!

The Governor announced today the updated quarantine guidelines that allow School Districts to stop contact tracing and quarantines due to the pandemic. Therefore, beginning Wednesday, February 2, 2022, Brookland Public Schools will only be sending students and staff home who test positive for COVID-19 or for those who are symptomatic. If your child is currently quarantined and is asymptomatic they may return to school as soon as possible.

4:00 - Brookland Jr High Girls vs Pocahontas
5:00 - 7th grade boys vs Westside
6:00 - Jr. High Boys vs Westside
7:15 - Sr. High Boys vs Westside
All games will be played in the Arena

Tonight’s girls games with Pocahontas will be 7th grade at 5:00 followed with Sr hi girls at 6:00. There will be no Jr hi games tonight due to Covid.

The boys' away basketball game tonight will not be streamed by Brookland.

Any fan attending the senior high games at Blytheville tonight or tomorrow will be required to wear a mask. This is a Blytheville School policy.

COVID Guidelines for Isolation/Quarantine
If You Test Positive for COVID-19 (Isolate)
EVERYONE (regardless of vaccination status):
You must stay home for 5 days.
If you have no symptoms at the end of 5 days, you may return to school.
You should continue to wear a mask around others for 5 additional days.
If you have a fever, continue to stay home until your fever resolves. You must be fever free for 24 hours before returning to school.
If You Were Exposed to Someone with COVID-19 (Quarantine)
If You are Fully Vaccinated:
You do not have to quarantine unless you start showing symptoms.
If you develop symptoms, you should get a test and stay home.
If You are Unvaccinated:
You should stay home for 5 days. If you don’t show symptoms, you can return on the 6th day.
After that, you should continue to wear a mask around others for 5 additional days.
If you develop symptoms, get a test and stay home.
