Brookland Baseball is hosting a Thanksgiving smoked meat fundraiser. Deadline to order is Friday, November 9th with pickup scheduled in the parking lot behind the arena on Saturday, November 18th from 3:00-5:00pm. 27 students auditioned for the senior high All-Region choirs this past Saturday. 16 plus 2 alternates were selected. 10 of them are now eligible to audition for All-State!

The Sr. High Girls Cross Country Team won the district tournament meet yesterday and the Jr. Boys were conference runner-up! AND Coach Hammond was named coach of the year for the 4A conference!
Tomorrow night during Parent Teacher Conference several colleges will be set up to answer your questions from 4-6:30 at the Junior High Entrance.

Yesterday 11th and 12th graders had the opportunity to attend the College Fair at Arkansas State University. Students were able to gather information about programs, majors, scholarships, and admission requirements from numerous colleges from across the state.







Brookland High School had students participate in Manufacturing Day last week. Manufacturing Day aims to promote awareness of modern manufacturing and highlight career opportunities in the field. Our students heard from Post Manufacturing, Hytrol Conveyors, ASU-Newport, and Arkansas State University Business and Engineering Departments. Then the students toured FMH Conveyors.

The University of Central Arkansas Recruiter, Lizzie Langston, was on campus during both lunches to talk about the new program called UCA Commitment. The UCA Commitment is a groundbreaking, debt-free pathway for tuition and fees for incoming Arkansas freshmen with an annual household income of $100,000 or less.
