The Career Fair held at Nettleton Baptist church on Tuesday, an amazing experience for students; there was an entire village that came together to make it wonderful. Thanks to the tireless efforts of Brookland Educator, Laura Pope and schools from all across the Northeast part of Arkansas, high school special needs students got to experience guest speakers, breakout sessions, vendors and interviews all built around employment! The program was another way to help students learn and grow while giving them a chance for future employment.
Thank you to all of the vendors, the Jonesboro Mayor's Youth Council, the volunteers, those company's interviewing and looking for employees, all of the kids and parents! A special thank you to Nettleton Baptist Church for the use of their facilities, Bearcat Media Productions and all of the schools that took part in the event.
