What an amazing turnout for the ribbon cutting ceremony to dedicate our new track facility. The crowd was filled with Bearcat supporters who expressed their pride for the new facility.
Brookland School Board President, Heath McGaughey, cut the ribbon to dedicate the facility for the school. He was joined by Danna Johnson, Brandon Sutton, Tim McNatt, Justin Ladd all current board members and former board President Terry McNatt.
We also recognized, Gaylon Tate of Tate Construction, the projects contractor. Steve Lewis of Lewis Architects, who designed the facility. Mayor Jones and his wife, members of the Brookland City Council, our community partners, and our support from so many!
Thank you to Athletic Director, Bobby Gross, Maintenance Director, Keith Prescott, Security Director, Doug Formon and IT Director, Eric Boyles for their tireless efforts to make this project a reality. Also thank you to our Coaches, Coach Hammond-Track, Coach Dillon-Softball and Coach Baker-Baseball.
We were honored to have a large group of former and current Bearcat track athletes present, many of whom have won individual state track titles and now they have the facilities to excel even further.
Thank you to everyone that came Thursday evening and another huge thank you to Bearcat Media Productions for their amazing work at the event!!
