Savannah Smith competed in the first annual district Girl Power to the Max competition. The competition was for CNC design in laser, plasma cutting, and woodworking. Savannah competed in the CNC laser competition and placed second, qualifying her for the State Girl Power Competition. The state competition is scheduled to take place at the Saline County Career Center on March 7, 2024. With her 2nd place entry she received a $100 cash prize and a $500 scholarship to ASUN.
