The nomination period is Monday, April 10th through Sunday, April 23rd. Each building's Teacher of the Year will then be in consideration for the District Teacher of the Year that will be announced in August.

If you would like your report card mailed to you, please send a self addressed stamped envelope to the office. Be sure the student name is on the envelope.
All 11 year old students must have a Tdap vaccine and all 7th grade students must have a Menactra vaccine. If you have not gotten these vaccines please call a Health Department, doctor's office, or pharmacy now for an appointment to get these PRIOR to school starting next year.
Brookland High School will be hosting a one day football camp on May 20th for 3-6th grade boys interested in playing or learning about our football program. The cost of the camp will be $10 per student. Each camper will receive a Brookland Tee Shirt. The Camp will be from 9am – 1pm. Deadline to sign up is April 28th: Extra forms are in the office
If you arrive at school at 7:55 or later, your parent needs to come in and sign you in.

Brookland Middle School Receives Recognition
At November's board meeting, our school was recognized for our recent awards from the Office of Educational Policy at the University of Arkansas. We were given three certificates:
Outstanding Educational Performance in Literacy for 2015 Regional Award
Outstanding Educational Performance in Math for 2015 Regional Award
Outstanding Educational Performance "Beating the Odds in Math" 2015 Regional Award
If you go to the Office of Educational Policy's website, you can read the report which shows based on Spring 2015 PARCC data, Brookland Middle School scored as the Top Middle School in Northeast, Arkansas for overall test scores in 2015; Top Middle School on Literacy in Northeast, Arkansas for 2015; and 2nd on Math in Northeast, Arkansas for 2015.
