Please note: Parents have 5 days after a student is absent to excuse that absence by contacting the office by phone, email or written note. Student absences can be monitored through the Home Access Center (HAC). Calls during semester test time will no longer be accepted.
Students pick up a parking form before you leave for the summer. You must have it completely filled out and brought with you when we do Parking/Lockers at the beginning of the school year to be able to purchase a parking spot.
Students if you want your report card mailed to you, turn in a self-addressed stamped envelope to the office.
Chromebooks must be turned in before semester tests or you will not be exempt.
Boys Basketball tryouts will be Monday, May 21st from 2:05 – 3:15. Sign up in the office
Any girl 8th-11th grade interested in playing soccer next year, need to see Mrs Paslay to sign up.
Dennis Manley Spring Football Game will be Friday at 4:00 pm. Students will get in FREE. Adults will be $2.00.
Students clean out your locker and 10th graders turn in your lock before you leave. A $5 locker clean out fee will be charged if you don’t.
Juniors make sure you know what time to be here for your composite picture on May 22nd. If you need to switch time slots due to semester testing see Mrs. Shipley.
Softball tryouts will be May 22-23 from 3-430 for any girl in grades 8-11. Must have a current physical. Need to get a sheet from Coach Sanders for tryouts.
If you are interested in trying out to be in a select choir, please see Mrs Johnson before school is out. Also, if you have signed up to take solo and ensemble class, you need to come by the choir room to get some information.
Capstone is providing free access to thousands of ebooks for students and teachers this summer.

For those students planning on taking the ACT this summer, Brookland High School will be offering a two week ACT Review. The first day of the review is May 29. See Mr. Wyatt to get an intent form. The intent forms are due back to Mr. Wyatt by May 18, 2018.

Bad Weather Information
In the event of bad weather and schools are closed, all students and staff will recieve a recorded message to the phone number on record at your child's school. You can also check local radio and TV stations for information.
