Upcoming Events and Information
Breakfast begins at 7:20 am.
The first award comes from the Northeast Arkansas Kids Directory. We were informed the Best Choice Awards for Kids & Families was a big success. People from all over Northeast Arkansas weighed in and they said that Brookland Elementary is the BEST ELEMENTARY SCHOOL in Northeast Arkansas. This is truly a special honor, as we have been voted BEST ELEMENTARY SCHOOL in NEA for the second year in a row according to the readers of Kids & Families Magazine!
The second award recognized Brookland Elementary as one of the highest-achieving elementary schools in Arkansas. The Office for Education Policy (OEP) at the University of Arkansas creates an annual report entitled the “Outstanding Educational Performance Awards,” highlighting the highest-performing schools in Arkansas. In the recently released report, Brookland Elementary received an award for Northeast Region Math High Achieving Scores. Awards are based on the OEP-created “school GPA,” calculated on the basis of the percentage of students that perform at each level on the ACT Aspire Math, ELA, and Science.
Congratuations! We are so proud of our teachers, students, and staff!
Susan Wise was voted Brookland Elementary's 2016-17 Teacher of the Year. Students, teachers, parents, and peers participated in the process. Congratulations!
